Groups of ten or more people are required to make a reservation at least two weeks prior to visiting the house. Particularly during peak season (March through June and December) group tours are subject to availability. Reservations can be made by calling 202-337-2288 x222 or by e-mailing your inquiry to tours@dumbartonhouse.org.

Dumbarton House can generally accommodate groups of up to 45 people for a guided tour. Special arrangements must be made for groups of larger than 45 people, and oftentimes larger tour groups must be split into separate tours. Dumbarton House is also able to accommodate groups with special needs.

Groups of ten or more adults are $3.00 per person, and a deposit of $20.00 is required. A group tour request is not confirmed until we have received a deposit and a completed reservation form.

If you have organized a group and already know the date and time you are interested in, please fill out our Group Tour Information Form, and a staff person will respond to your request. If a response is not received within one week, please call 202-337-2288 x222.
